Gonna go into the detail about the website’s plans for the upcoming expansion etc.
TLDR nothing is getting deleted, regardless if it works or not (except for public mods but those were getting deleted before the expansion too.)

Dawntrail plans
Hey everyone. Dawntrail is upon us, and as many of you may or may not know, a lot of mods will break upon this release since there’s a graphical update. I’m here to clear up what our plans are with this, because obviously this will hugely affect the modding community.
In short, nothing is getting deleted, as long as it’s a paid or a taken down mod. We haven’t been keeping around public mods for a long time, so that will go on as normal.
That being said, it might get confusing for some on how to make these mods work or if they can even make it work. I will be putting up a banner on all of our uploads, warning users that a mod may or may not work with 7.0, and set it so this only disappears on uploads that WE KNOW FOR SURE work with 7.0.
Do keep in mind that we won’t bother to mark old uploads as such, even if they work. Only new uploads or old ones that end up getting an update will get marked as such. This is too big of a change for a small team of barely 10 to handle, so the user must be informed and able to make things work on their own end. At the end of the day we are only here to distribute.
Workflow in the coming weeks
As for how new uploads will go in the upcoming weeks, we will continue kind of as usual, with the exception of probably the first week. Of course the team also wants to play the new expansion, so most of us will be absent until we finish the story. Not to mention wuwa 1.1 is coming out around the same time and I’ll be grinding that too so you know.
We still have a huge backlog of mods from the Telegram that have not been uploaded to the website, so you might still see uploads of mods that have not been optimized for 7.0. This will continue even in the future when it comes to abandoned paid mods/mainly taken down mods. Just get your reading comprehension up and there shouldn’t be a problem.
As for resources on how to make older mods work (with the exception of face mods I believe?), TexTools has a built in converter now afaik. I’m sure you can find a tutorial in their discord on how to make that work: https://discord.gg/ffxivtextools I may or may not bother with a post on possible resources to make older mods work.
Further website updates
As for ongoing issues with the website, let me address some as a closing section for this long ass post.
Download links are slowly being moved to 4 new hosts, please be patient on broken links. We are going to stop using gofile completely as a host for reasons I will not get into. Anyways, patience.
Side menu is coming, I’m just lazy. With the side menu, a better browsing experience will come too (hopefully.)
Gear tags are being worked on at the moment. I feel like they are finally at a great place where it allows users to narrow down posts and also for the team to upload more efficiently. The old tags are slowly being phased out, and once that’s done I’ll roll out the new ones. I apologize for the gear category being such a mess.
Other minor issues regarding how the website looks: Fonts/sizes/formatting etc idk I’m also working on that. Kind of indecisive about stuff so I adjust shit as I think about it + once I sat on it long enough to think it through.
