If you have your own personal base skin, there is a png version in the kit, you just have to apply the mod as a top layer.
If you have trouble with this later, you can contact me and I will do it for you.

I don’t use penumbra, but I did ask a user to test a mod.
If you don’t have the texture of the gloves displayed.
NPC Smallclothes Hands don’t show the hand textures
however Emperors/Regular Smallclothes do
