- Patch 7.3 broke a lot of VFX mods. If the mod has no 7.3 update yet, it will most likely crash your game. Please stop reporting this, mods will get updated as the author updates them & we get the share on our Telegram. There's literally nothing we can do about them as they are right now.

Tbh, this might as well be a new job at this point. Complete overhauls of all the animations, VFX, and even some sound effects. Herald of the Dark was something that started out as a Gaia-based mod (real surprise there, huh) and quickly became something new. Aside from “Hand of the Master” everything else in the Weapons folder was built for Textools as I was relatively new to Penumbra at the time. I plan to roll out a version for Penumbra in the near future.
UPDATE: Added a revised version of the idle and movement file to accommodate those who use standard-type camera instead of legacy for some reason. :V Also added a jump animation.
UPDATE 2: Added /draw, /sheathe, /cpose, /bstance, and /vpose animations
UPDATE 2.01: The revisions to Herald of the Dark have been added as a separate file and the old version has been labeled as the Legacy Version.
UPDATE 2.02: Made some adjustments to some of the VFX and SFX of the revised version of the mod. Further adjustments are in progress.
UPDATE 2.03: Completed VFX and SFX adjustments to prevent “leaking” from other GNBs.
UPDATE 2.1: Herald of the Dark Redux is live with adjustments to sound, animations, visuals, and even some of the emotes. Role actions coming soon. Legacy role actions are still available in the mean time. Demo version of Redux is here: www.xivmodarchive.com/modid/103400
Update 2.11: Added an “Off” option to all Single Selection parts of the mod to allow for better mixing and matching with other mods.
Update 3.0: Updated for Dawntrail with modifications to new skills Fated Brand, Great Nebula, Reign of Beasts, Noble Blood, and Lion Heart

Update 3.01: Fixed the GNB PvP Limit Break entry “Terminal Trigger” so that it no longer disables PCT cast animations.
Update 3.02: Adjusted Trajectory’s VFX, sound, and invisibility to be in line with the 7.05 update version.

- Redux update
Reports I ignore and delete immediately:
- Virus warning: read the FAQ/Troubleshooting
- DT/version update requests: mods will not get updated until someone shares the update with us on Telegram & an uploader gets to it
- Malicious ads/files: again, read the FAQ/Troubleshooting guide. You WILL get fucked up if you can’t pass a simple reading comprehension test.
- Catbox/Buzzheavier is down: yeah, services go down sometimes. Good indicator is download links not loading. We do not own Catbox or Buzzheavier, wait a few hours for the service providers to fix the issue, there’s nothing we can do.
- Buzzheavier is dead: bro its been back for MONTHS quit trying to tell me it doesn’t exist lmao
- A make-up/body mod only has loose files: lol
Everything else I do make sure to test on my end, but if I (the owner of the website) personally come up with nothing, your report will be thrown out. It is 99% likely the issue is on your end, and if you don’t see a fix in Updates for your problem within a few weeks, you can assume it is an issue only on your end.
