Finally, Nier RDM! I ended up leaving this modpack as one of the last ones because I consider it a challenging job to work with, mainly due to the significant overlap in the animations of its skills.
Additionally, there are several distinct characteristic elements (wind, fire, thunder, stone, and the “Red” abilities).
Even in the realm of concept and design, I aimed to compartmentalize the class into different “themes” (I didn’t want to rely solely on Pod Skills for the entire roster of skills).
In the end, I utilized Pod, “Copied City Data,” Energy, and Weiss’s Sealed Verses.
I also worked on the melee animations of the class to make them at least a little different from the bases and managed to implement some pod programs!
Oh, and, of course, there are some Emils scattered throughout the modpack as well (along with other references to games in the Taroverse)
